Island Pottery Tour 2008
Denman Island's 21st annual Pottery Tour will welcome
visitors to seven venues over the Victoria Day long-weekend,
May 17-18, between 10am and 5pm daily.
Renowned potters Gordon Hutchens,
Shirley Phillips, Hanne Christensen, Tom Dennis and Bentley LeBaron
will all be presenting exciting new works.
Tour-goers will also
have the opportunity to visit a rare, Anagama,
or Japanese climbing-hill kiln, featuring a special exhibit of one-of-a-kind wood-fired pieces
right on site.
Cafe Ceramica, located in the Denman Arts Centre
in the heart of the village, is another new and exciting attraction!
Stop by to sample delicious refreshments served on beautiful pottery
hand-crafted by tour participants.
Maps will be available at the Buckley
Bay Ferry and Denman Arts Centre at the top of the ferry hill.
