Leslie Dunsmore is a BC-born artist whose recent work captures the simplicity of silence in the absolute stillness of nature. Peering, as if through magnified lens, she reinterprets complex relationships between colour and form. The paintings portray an overall calmness, a disturbing beauty. The seductively crisp edges and decorative markings freeze the moment where outer and inner landscapes collide.
